Top 10 CB's in the 2010 Draft

For the several NFL Teams that are looking to draft a Corner in the 2010 NFL Draft, they are in luck! While this draft doesn't appear to have the Next Champ Bailey, what it does have is loads of 3 star talent from start to finish. In the top tier we have Trevard Lindley and Joe Haden, both of whom have shown tremendous pro bowl caliber play and can be called the only 2 shut down corners in the draft. While neither possess the prototypical size with Lindley being too light and Haden being too short, they both should hear their names called soon after the mid first round. The Sleeper of this draft is Jerome Murphy, who is a very raw talent with prototype measurements. If he runs a 4.3 forty at the combine he could draw a lot of attention early in the draft just based on potential.

Top 10 Safeties in 2010

The 2010 NFL Draft is LOADED with Blue Chip Safety Prospects. In all of the years that I have been covering the NFL Draft have a seen such a top heavy and deep draft for 1 position. At the top of the list there's 2 of the best Safety prospects to come out of the draft since Sean Taylor. The #1 Safety Prospect this year is Eric Berry, Tennessee. He is always near the ball and is a pure play maker in the secondary. He barely beats out Taylor Mays, who many consider to be a top 5 prospect. Rashad Jones stands way above Kam Chancellor as the next best SS in this group, however the battle for FS is much closer. Ras-I Dowling could be the 5th CB or the 2nd FS, so I see a tough competition with him and Deunta Williams. Both Williams and Dowling have starting NFL ability. Lewis, Stuckey, and Baker all have some potential to start in the NFL, but I doubt they could start from Day 1. Myron Rolle however is extremely over rated because of his Rhodes Scholarship a year ago, and plans on being a Surgeon while playing in the NFL. I dont expect teams to express much interest in Rolle outside the later rounds.
